**2015 Pit FF League One**: DRAFT ON 8.26 @ 8:30; Updated Divisions & Draft Order

All Play is an interesting format, for sure, but that's what fancy stats (Power Rankings, Strength of Schedule, Every Team/Every Week) are for - they illustrate what teams are playing above or below their potential.

I much prefer the standard system that emulates real sports. Sometimes upsets happen. Sometimes good teams get left out of the playoffs. It adds intrigue and bolsters discussion.
 
I also like having a defined set of players to root against every week instead of every player not on my roster.
 
yeah plus like in my friends league, it allows you to shit talk with your opponent, set up side bets for your match-up, etc.
 
At the beginning of the year, I sure didn't see myself losing because Brock Osweiler outscored my Aaron Rodgers 28 to 3 at the half. FMFL
 
And if I had held onto my late round draft pick David Johnson instead of giving up on him, I'd probably still have a chance to win.
 
I mean I'm playing my 4th or 5th QB this season (lost #1 pick), a RB that I grabbed off waivers that has never started a game, and the same for a TE that I've never even heard of before today. I'm not seeing too much for you to complain about here.

That's why I'm complaining. I should have won this but I screwed it up by not being patient with Johnson. I'm pissed at myself for making a good pick and not benefitting from it.

Osweiler is just a shit happens fantasy play. I hitched my wagon to a great QB who wasn't going to crap out but ended up not putting up huge numbers most weeks. You took a shot at Osweiler and it paid off. Thems the breaks.

I won my QF game and promoted to League One on the backs of 6 free agents (Tyrod Taylor, Amendola, Hightower, Robert Woods, James White, New England Defense), and a 9th Round draft pick (Antonio Gates)

The 2012 and 2013 League 1 Champions are now demoted and playing in League 2 showing how winning the thing is just pure crapshoot of injuries, drafting, and waiver wire.

I won league 2 in 2013 with my team P in the V. 3 for 3 in playoffs if you count dwarf league!
 
Yeah I don't have access to anything earlier as before that the first year I played was pit league 2 where I then was promoted immediately. I don't remember how many years this league goes back.
