Hell yea.

Once Austin gets too expensive, you can move to Slam Antonio and keep the party going.

Central Texas is the tits.

I wonder where the next Austin is gonna be. Has to be somewhere that's affordable that hipsters and creative types will flock to. Detroit?

Too cold bruh. Plus it's already an established big city.

Nashville was the answer 5-8 years ago. Now it's it's own scene. Not sure what's next.

That's not really the point. It's cheaper, has a unique cultural mix (Mexican heritage, German heritage, and Hipster influx), and it's starting to attract good chefs and restaurateurs from all over TX who want to open their new concepts without paying a fortune. The public transit is better in any other TX city besides Austin.

It's still pretty dirty in some places and its downtown is shitty, but we loved it when we took a weekend trip last month. And young people who live there all keep telling me how a-fucking-mazing it is. I dig it.

CT 185: Broken pretzels and Texas: overrated

Was in LA and Chicago. Now have family visiting in meehico for my kids birthday. We had a pretty creepy huge Mickey Mouse piñata that was almost indestructible otherwise party was fun. Bongs said no beer at 10am party but we had beer. Now chillin in the hot tub

wondered if seeing Mickey Mouse strung from a tree and beaten with sticks would bother the boy but he was cool with it
