Presumably OFFICAL 2015/16 Premier League - Leicester CHAMPS. Best Sports Story Ever

Dembele heat map from the first half. He's literally EVERYWHERE.

The refs refusal to use a card early in the match against Yacob or Dawson kind of set the tone - WBA's very physical play has really bothered Spurs, some of the young guys seem to be losing their cool a bit.

No offense, but I don't give a shit that Yacob is hurt now. He's spent this entire match kicking everyone from Spurs he can get a foot even near.

This match sadly has a strong whiff of "Arsenal" about it - early chances that aren't taken, referee that lets the game get very physical, frustration growing at home and then a killer late goal from a set piece to drop points. It's straight out of the Wenger playbook.

Did the cameras catch Delle Alli hitting someone? Friend just texted me "Delle Alli will get three match ban for that".

Yeah, Yacob had been kicking the shit out of him the entire first half and then on a set piece Alli tried to sneakily punch him in the stomach.

He'll very likely get a 3 match ban for it, was incredibly dumb. Very poor from the referee to not give Yacob or Dawson and early card for their repeatedly and nasty fouling, but Alli can't take matters into his own hands.

The Alli punch is very telling though - Spurs started great but hit the post a couple of times and the continued dirty play from WBA started to pile up the frustration with a couple of the players (Alli and Lamela in particular) and frankly Spurs just lost their heads as the match went on.

Pulisball at it's finest, and Spurs youngsters just didn't handle it well at all. Harsh lesson to learn.

lol, Dawson STILL doesn't have a card - even after a blatant "professional" foul to stop a break and then knocking Kane back down to stop a quick free kick. This referee might have just lost his book before the match and nobody realized it.

More dropped home points to bottom-half of the table clubs for Spurs. Poch needs to figure that ish out.

will leicester clinch if spurs draw?

If they beat United on Sunday (or if they win any of their remaining games, or if they draw them all, or if Spurs lose again, or any combo of things), it is OVAH

Just saw it on twitter. I've seen slaps on the ass that did more damage than that "punch". Hopefully they let it slide.

Ugh, it's fitting that a season where a team that plays "refined" Pulisball wins the league that it's effectively decided in a match featuring the legend himself.

Probably more than anything it's just the youth - they have to learn how to handle teams that will get nasty and dirty and just get under their skin and frustrate them. It's happened a couple of times to Spurs this year (the Stoke match at WHL stands out) and cost them. Especially when the flow of play goes against you - Spurs hit the woodword 3 times in this match, and you could see the frustration growing (along with the bruises from Yacob and Dawson kicking everyone they could reach).

LOL. I knew vad was going to post something to that extent.

Pulis ball = 63 goals (just two less than Spurs) and often entertaining to watch. GOT IT!

You can't deny that Leicester has gone full Pulis since Christmas. It was just Huth and Morgan hoooooooooofing it up to Vardy and holding on for 1-0 wins for darn near 2 solid months. It's going to win them the league (and in Spain, a fairly similar style might win it for Atletico) but it's far from "cultured". The free flowing Leicester that scored all those goals before Christmas has totally disappeared the 2nd half of the season.
