Just checked over on the Championship standings to see who's coming up next year, and holy crap it's tight at the top. Burnley, Boro, and Brighton are all on 87 points with only two games to go. Not only that, the goal differences are 33, 32, and 30, so anything really could happen. It's going to suck for one of those teams to have to go through the playoffs. Burnley looks to have an easy schedule, and Brighton is at Boro on the final day in a game that looks likely to be a win and you're promoted deal.

As a burnley fan I would have to disagree. Undefeated since boxing day (14 wins, 7 draws) and in a good position for promition. They were happy to get their check last year but really invested wisely. The PL money is like the lottery : at first a blessing but not managed correctly, it can doom a club.

Boro drew today and face brighton on the last day. Burney have QPR- a win pretty much guarantees a spot in the PL. 100 million pounds just in tv money.
