Official '15-16 NBA Season Thread: THEY WON ONE FOR THE LAND

does OKC just have one skyscraper?

More or less. They're very proud of it. It's a nice building. Problem is, it was built by Devon Energy about 3-4 years ago, and that company has fallen on some rouuuuugh times with the oil downturn.

Minus all of the criminal activity, it'd be like Enron building fancy schmancy buildings in the Houston skyline in 2000 or whatever and then going bust a year or two later.

Seen a lot of games over the years and never seen a player down low with the 'leg kick' that connected to that area.

Hard to imagine during leaving OKC if they win the WCF.

Yeah. Listened to some Spurs donk podcast try to claim KD would still consider the Spurs after last series. Laughable unless he really wanted to be in Texas.

Agreed. That was too obvious to ignore.

APETIT was ahead of the curve calling the dubs punks. Curry and Dray leading the way.

How in the hell can anyone claim that wasn't intentional?

Kerr comes off a bit condescending, when he saws he expects the NBA to rescind the F1. Green's post game interview where he has that stupid shi*t eating grin on his face tells you all you need to know.

OKC on the offensive pointing out its the second time Adams has been hit like that from Green.

I think most times when a post player gets hit in the nads it from a inadvertent knee, not a kick out.

So this is what happens when the Dubs stop getting lucky and have to play someone good?

Donovan with a really interesting quote pregame about Waiters: “It took a lot of time to try to talk to Dion. I think in the beginning he had a little bit of a perception that maybe I, in particular, was trying to change his game, so to speak. It wasn’t about changing his game as much as it was about him being efficient and understanding shot-clock situations, understanding what he’s really good at. I think from an efficiency standpoint, just the way everything has gone with analytics now, those pull-up jump shots early, mid-clock, you probably can get those at different points in time. I think for Dion, because of his ability to drive the ball and his ability to pass, him staying away from that I think actually opened up more things for him. I think once he started to see and understand how to do that — again, Dion’s a young player, and when you get to this level by doing something, you think you can kind of stay doing it. But I give Dion a lot of credit that he saw for him to take another jump as a player, here’s something I’ve got to evolve and get better at.”

Dion is one of my 10 favorite players in the lig.
