Here are the night one kill descriptions:
"The Penguins took out Chaos - Buffalo Sabers - vanilla civ
You are the Buffalo Sabers. Last season, you tanked in order to get Connor McDavid, but it didn’t work anyway because the Oilers. Jack Eichel is a pretty good consolation prize, though, and while you didn’t make much headway in the standings this season, the team was certainly more competitive. Next year could be a return to respectability, or just more of the same. In this game, you are a vanilla civ.
The Sharks also got on the board by taking out Nonny - Carolina Hurricanes - vanilla civ
You are the Carolina Hurricanes. You were basically in a rebuild mode this year, and it looks like you still have some way to go. You were in the playoff hunt much longer than expected, though. This was probably due to Coach Bill Peters and the power of #TacoTuesday (not really though, as Eddie Lack had a disappointing season). Everyone is hoping for improvement next season, but for now, you are just a vanilla civ."
And night 2:
"Night 2 has passed with one more casualty. DaDeacs - civ gf hunter - has been taken out by the Sharks.
You are the Toronto Maple Leafs. Let’s face it, you’ve had a tough time of it lately. It has been a few years since you made the playoffs, you are in a complete rebuild mode, and your only notable star (no, Dion Phaneuf doesn’t count) not only got traded, but is now in the Stanley Cup Finals. You guys hated him anyway, right? In fact, you hated him so much that you can use it to your advantage in this game. You know that Phil Kessel is the Penguin Godfather. You may also investigate one player each night to determine if he/she is the Pittsburgh mafia godfather. Investigations will come back “Kessel” or “not Kessel”
I'm not sure what to make of the fact that both mafias got kills night one. Barring any undisclosed action which prevented a second kill on night two, the Pens didn't have a kill last night. Hakeem suggests Pens hit odd and Sharks hit even. At this point it probably doesn't matter that much, but at least helps with reading alignment as to who could be on which mafia.
