Official '15-16 NBA Season Thread: THEY WON ONE FOR THE LAND

He also Swindled the Suns (Thomas at like $6 mil a year for next few years and is an all star, probably the best contract in the league) and the Nets (5 years of 1st round picks or swaps with a bottom 3 team) and Dallas (Crowder for Rondo).

Top 3 GM, without a doubt.

Who are your other two? Buford and Presti?

Reports are Hayward wants out of the Jazz and he's being actively shopped. Then again reports yesterday were he was unavailable for trade.

How many posts would phan have made by now if GSW won?

the only thing worse than spurs hubris is warriors phandom.

"It was very disappointing just because we know how good we are," Thompson told reporters. "We feel like we're still the best team in the world, and we let that slide. So it hurts right now. I can't tell you when the disappointment's gonna fade, but it will."

this team is so unlikable.

He was ready to leave as a FA. The Jazz matched or he'd be a Hornet.

so manu opts out out and "leaning towards" returning to spurs. west opts out.

at least one report that warriors will go after dirk. guess they won't bid very high on barnes. realizing someone(s) will way over pay what's his actual value? 10-12 in last summers market? still a risk with his inconsistency at that price this summer.

Hell will freeze over before Dirko plays for an NBA team that's not the Dallas Mavericks.

Teague to Pacers. Hill to Jazz. No details on the rest.

i'm glad lbj finally got the #olds on board the millenial train.

i must officially be an old because i have no idea what this means. what millennial train allows us olds on it?

i don't like king james but i dislike the warriors more. rooting against a very talented, whiny, dirty team was fun. they make good bad guys. losing after all the "best team ever" talk and having been anointed the 2016 nba champs last fall was great tv. they'll be back and in the thick of it next season.

Buford for sure. Dunno about the third. Riley, Olshey, Myers round out a top 5?

I can see that. I'd put Riley #2. I was talking to someone the other day about how there's a very strong argument that Pat Riley has had the great all-around career in the NBA, player, coach, and GM. Obviously, Phil and Bird are up there, but in total, gotta go with Riley.

I hate Lebron much more but there was in itself there was no downside to the Warriors losing.
