There was tension and excitement, but it wasn't a great series and it wasn't high quality basketball. Several players played poorly. Officiating was questionable.

Always whining from you Ph......players were awful, not good basketball, officiating questionable...blah balh This was the 2 best teams playing at the end of the season, so of course they are tired. Get over it. It is that way every year, no matter what sport. Football has players hurt, basketball has players hurt--they have to deal with it and have others developed.

Last year Bron Bron lost Love for the playoffs because of a bush league play by the Celtics in the Cav's sweep in the first series, then lost Kyrie in Game 1 of the finals and STILL LeBron gets it to a Game 6. It was a Game 7 series, Draymond Green took himself out of Game 5 by doing "his thing" and getting his 4 flagrants--the league didn't take him out, he put in a near-CP3 nut shot on LeBron that deserved a flagrant and LeBron deserved his technical for instigating. And the officiating had absolutely no bearing in a game or the series outcome! Cleveland shot 167 FT's to the Warriors 145 [in the first 2 games where the Warriors crushed the Cavs, they only shot 10 in each game--they are a 3 point shooting team so why foul the Warriors?]. There were 147 total fouls called on the Cavs & 150 on the Warriors.

I really feel like ainge, rondo and doc rivers got super overrated with those Celtics squads

They were built on KG and Pierce

Pierce has been underrated for the last 20 years.

The Sixers better be making some trades in the next 36 hours if they are taking Simmons. Well, unless their plan is to have a team of 6'10 PFs who can't shoot threes.

Okafor is much better than anyone available at #4. The Sixers should trade him to PHX for #4 and #13. If they have to throw #24 in, fine.

Pretty hard to say Ainge is overrated after landing Stephens, and taking that team of nobodies to a top 5 record in the east all while getting every Nets pick for the next 5 years.

Ainge swindled a weak franchise, got the best college coach, and paid him a lot of money. Stevens did the rest.

Why would phx want Okafor

rj, I never read A Story Almost Told, but it's about your career as GM, no?

How many posts would phan have made by now if GSW won?

Who is watching the parade?

They need a post scorer. They are extremely weak at PF/C.

Ummm, they are weak everywhere from top down. That franchise is a disaster and will remain that way until the get a new owner and GM that know what they are doing. This has become a team that nobody wants to play for.

He also Swindled the Suns (Thomas at like $6 mil a year for next few years and is an all star, probably the best contract in the league) and the Nets (5 years of 1st round picks or swaps with a bottom 3 team) and Dallas (Crowder for Rondo).

Top 3 GM, without a doubt.
