You think the former Washington bureau chief for McClatchy is making it up, peddling a conspiracy? What evidence do you have he's lying? I can point to quite a bit of evidence that the Clinton campaign were peddling rumors about Obama. Congrats for also being in denial.

I read the words in the tweet you posted. In 2008, an aid to Hillary asked an investigative journalist to investigate the rumor that Barack Obama was born outside the US. You had a different take?

I didn't say he was lying, i'm saying he's putting out info and trying to give it spin that's not there.

If you were a candidate in 2008 and a rumor popped up, you wouldn't ask your staff to check into it? You're being ridiculous and a trumpshill

Find us one news clip or article from the 2008 that supports this claim...not a tweet 8 years later. In order for them to be "spreading the birther bullshit", as you say, there would be clips or articles with Clinton or Clinton surrogates opening calling for private eyes to go to Hawaii to figure out what's going on. So find those clips.

1. So you think he's lying. Based on what? 2. Not every smear peddled by a campaign is done out in the open- much of it is off the record. 3. I'm stunned that I need to even explain number 2. This is idiocy of the highest order. Do your own fucking research and try to open that mind just a sliver.

So how can they be "spreading the birther bullshit" if they are doing it quietly behind closed doors? The key word here is "spreading".

You are the one laying out accusations without supporting evidence other than a tweet from 8 years after the fact, why would I do the research for you?
