As ridiculous as this argument was 7 years ago, it's completely ridiculous now. Any decent Dem alternative would have beaten Hillary in the 2016 primary. No question white Obama would have beaten Hillary in 2008.

First blacks owe you something, and now, not only does systematic racism not exist, it is actually blacks discriminating against whites. I worry about the Bob from Randleman.
 
I was dead serious when I said a couple of months ago that I think this pivot from BKF is really something he should discuss with his doctor. If there have been such big swings in emotional changes on an anonymous message boards as a result of the medicines being taken then I would guess there are other big changes going on in real life that are even more notable.

This post may come across as antagonizing, but I really mean it sincerely. Departing from deeply held beliefs for over 60 years in a span of 6 months is extremely, extremely abnormal.

As I've said several times now, blacks do not owe me anything...but they owe themselves something. They have shortchanged themselves by being seduced for a long time by the Democrats' welfare plantation system. They have shown nearly 100% fealty to the Democratic Party for several decades now and what has it gotten them?

The relationship between the Democrats & African-Americans is similar to the one of drug dealers initially giving free drugs to get their clients addicted.

Trump appears to be having a meltdown. His campaign should really consider pulling him from the campaign for a few days to get clean.

People are saying that the cocaine use is getting to be a problem. He tweets out a string of erratic tweets at 4 in the morning. I don't know if those were cocaine fueled, but a lot of people are saying they might be.
 
Regardless of what happens, it's disturbing how many people think this man should be president.
 
was listening to NPR today and they were talking about how the Trump campaign tries to portray an image of ruggedness -- one of Pence's favorite phrases on the trail is talking about Trump's "broad shoulders." but when I think of a campaign/candidate going for ruggedness, I think of W on his ranch with a cowboy hat on. have we ever seen Trump in anything but a suit/blazer? has he ever even rolled his sleeves up? ever worn jeans on the trail?

What did he wear in LA? I feel like I've seen golf pictures in a polo. Methinks ruggedness is a code word.

Not really. It is no different than the phenomenon that occurs when Wake signs a low-rated recruit in basketball. A certain portion of the fanbase will believe that the recruit will ultimately be really good merely because Wake offered him a scholarship, despite all evidence to the contrary (call it the Daniel Green effect). Even if Wake signed a guy who was 4'7 with no arms, some of our fans would convince themselves that we found a diamond in the rough.

In the same way, if somebody is running for President, a certain portion of the public will support them merely because either a) they like the initial beside the name or b) they really hate the other candidate.
 
Sig, I find that phenomenon in our fanbase to be disturbing as well.
