Official Week 16 NFL Thread: My Mom Got It For Me

And Tyrod Taylor is being benched for the finale. If they cut him before March so they won't have to pay him, what the heck are they going to do at QB? They'll be drafting in the mid teens, so the QBs will be gone. Which retread gives them a better chance to win than Taylor? Cutler? If they do cut Taylor, I'm betting he ends up in Denver. Kubiak liked him the year he was in Baltimore.

Trade that 1st rounder for Romo! Oh, and throw in a 3rd because you're desperate.

Where do you think Romo will end up? Denver would make the most sense if they had any OL, which they don't. He won't last a quarter behind that OL. I figure he'd retire rather than be traded to a dead end team like Cleveland or San Fran. Houston would make the most sense, but there is no way they have the $$ for him because they're financially tied to Osweiler's contract regardless of whether they keep him. Arizona would certainly make sense if Palmer retires, but that's unlikely. Maybe the Jets, Buffalo or Chicago, but they're hardly contenders.

I have no idea because I don't keep up with contracts or salary cap stuff

Cowboys don't scare me. Not afraid to bring historically good O into a dome.

Tampa and Seattle fall leaving the Falcons with the 2 seed and a bye.

Dallas will roll your D. Only way I see Atlanta winning is if you have the ball last in a 48-44 shootout. Same thing if GB goes to Dallas. I don't relish the thought of a NE/Dal SB, but right now, I think I'd take either over the field. Best thing that could happen in the AFC is KC finishing as a wild card so that NE would have to play both them and Pitt in successive weekends - because Hou, Mia and Oak don't have any shot at beating any of the better teams.

This couldn't be set up any better for yet another ELIte Super Bowl run. Cowboys? Already shown twice how that will turn out. Matt Ryan versus Eli in a playoff game that counts? Holy shit get his barf bag ready. Packers? ELIte has already knocked them out in the playoffs twice in Lambeau. Seattle would be tough on the road, but there is only about a 50/50 chance that they play well. Detroit wouldn't even put up a fight.

I don't want any part of the Giants in the playoffs. They are our bogey team.

I'd take the Seahawks over anyone in the NFC if Thomas, Lockett, et al were healthy. I'd probably still take them if they had home field throughout, but I don't think their defense can keep up with Atlanta or Dallas on the road.

I wouldn't sleep on the Packers. This season has been pretty similar to 2010 for them.

This is actually comforting from the guy who is literally wrong about everything.

Falcons? boy bye

If Dallas hosts the Falcons, the line will be less than 5.75, which is miniscule.

Steelers? Please. Don't sleep on Miami.

I'm cool with the Fins, they were my surprise team this year. I had them in the AFCCG slightly for shits and giggles but thought they might makes some noise this year.

Kinda hope they get the 5 and reduce NE to the 2 so they can get a HOU/McGloin draw to the AFCCG

Playoff lines that late in the game rarely are big spreads, what's your point? The Panthers were only a 3 point favorite against the Cardinals in last year's NFC Championship game, and we all saw how that one turned out.
