A lot of truth to that. Though Ron is worried about it obviously. But to be clear, there are not enough relevant voices yet. As I've said, this is our own fault. Mit Shah included. Our last 20 years of basketball is not ok. He is giving cover to those employed pretending that it is.

Actual questions froma 12 year old:

If Wake Forest has been so bad for 2 decades, why are the same people in charge?

Why don't we try something new--like what the winning programs do?

These few donors they are listening to, they all started on 2nd base, do we get to start the game on 2nd base?

Mid 90's alum here. I think you underestimate the "generation" of donors and fans whose relationship with MSD has been irrevocably broken by that asshole.

so improving the strength and conditioning of athletes, keeping those athletes in optimal shape, and giving those athletes every possible resource to improve are all less important than a smaller stadium?

I disagree with you. I don't think you know what recruits are looking for these days. Our best chance to win consistently is to attract top talent. #1 is the coach, #2 are the amenities, #3 is the level of competition. That's the top 3.

Now, start pitching the Basketball dorm to donors who can make it happen.

No son here. But yes everyone has heard the rant. It used to be easily dismissed as coming from a snot nosed 25 year old. Now I'm winning and WF isn't. Time to start listening.
