Collins to test NBA, update: he has signed an agent, per Jeff Goodman

Nothing that would be remotely comparable to that. Missing a 10-step travel would be like calling a strike on a pitch that was 4 feet outside the plate.

Football rules violations suck almost as much as basketball, though. Baseball should never be compared to either basketball or football as far as the game being played according to a uniform set of rules. Baseball stands pretty much alone among those three sports as far as being a game that is played according to the rules.

Wonder how those other two sports got so fucked up over the years?
Overall a pretty dumb video. Quite egregious of the video and you bkf to call some of those a 10-step travel. As you know, if your pivot foot stays still, you can legally move your other foot as many times as you want. But once that pivot foot moves, it's a travel. The error is in missing the pivot food being moved, not in not calling all those other steps.

You need to watch the video again. The number of traveling steps wasn't determined by how many times one foot moved while the pivot foot was stationary. Both feet were being moved....many times during the same possession. These were not marginal traveling calls that were overlooked.

What's your theory?

I haven't had time to work on a theory for that yet. Right now I am working on a theory as to how the hell you have time to hold down a job and raise a family while making 74,000 posts on a chatboard in 73 months. That is an average of 33 posts per day every day of the year for more than six years. Assuming that you sleep eight hours a day, that is a post every 30 minutes while you were awake over the last six years.

You act like posting is some arduous task.

LOL. Averaging 33 posts per day for more than six years...which also requires reading other posts, because most posts are responses to other posts...is extremely time-consuming.

How many other posters here have a full-time job (at least it is supposed to be a full-time job) & a family with young children who had the time to make 74,000 posts since the OG Boards began in the spring of 2011?

You have well over 3915 posts.

I'm guessing that you're closer to 10,000, if not a bit more. You're obviously self-conscious about it because you go on crazy deleting sprees that undoubtedly take more time than it does to make a post.

What I'm wondering, then, is how do you have time to type more or less the same four or five posts, from scratch 10-11,000 times? Your repertoire used to be larger when you were a liberal, but it really is four to five posts over and over again at this point.

So what's your point?

And what does this have to do with the NBA?

I'm retired, and my only son is ChrisL's age. I got a job and went to work a month after I graduated from WF when I was 21 years old and didn't stop working until I was 68. And along the way I also left my wife & 9-week old son to serve my country for two years in the army. Now, I don't have to do a damned thing each day if I don't want to. I've paid my dues. Right now I just got back from a walk on the beach in Garden City and am trying to decide which restaurant I want to pick for dinner. We have tried several of Deacon Brews' suggestions so far this week and all have been excellent. Do you care to offer any restaurant suggestions?

My point is that you have evidently done quite well within the system that you constantly bash as being "systemically racist". I wouldn't be surprised if you have even benefitted from it.

So? That's pretty weak point.

Back to just because one person is able to overcome means there is no problem, must be easy to live in a black and white world with only two outcomes to every situation.

Why do you care?

A better question would be... why does bkf delete thousands of his own posts? Quite curious.
