So Trump is going straight up super villain now.

That's the strangest/creepiest/funniest picture I've ever seen.

What is the context?

Our low energy president. Sad!

Serious question.... been checking CNN alot for the past 7-8 months, and I'm having a hard time remembering any headline not having to do with Trump or North Korea in the past 5 months. Can you blame Trump for then thinking its a media witch hunt?

Trump can't have it both ways. He can't tweet and insult people and then bitch about people looking into what he says. If you shout and shout and shout, and lie and lie and lie, and are POTUS, OF COURSE there will be non-stop coverage of you.

He WANTS the coverage. then cries when he is called on what he says. It's not a witch hunt.

There has to be news out there in the world other than the ego battle between butthurt liberal media types and Donald Trump

#fakenews isn't an incorrect label, its just embarrassingly similar to fox news has been at this point that Trump effectively made completely uncredible going forward. We'll be getting all our news from random twitter handles soon enough. Trump may leave office and have to go back playing golf with his billions of dollars to play with, but media as we know it is over. Trump gave the TKO. Only partisan hacks go to CNN's front page the past 5 months and not think it's absurdly biased.

For the record, I'm an atheist and I vowed never to vote republican in my entire life after their family values bullshit told me I couldn't play poker for a living anymore. Most of my trolling is just in shock the liberal majority on this board doesn't see that Trump's actually right when it comes to a lot of his opinions on this media.

A free unbiased media does the public a lot of good. Biased media is cancer, and now that's all we have. A year ago , I thought there was a slight bias to most of my media outlets. Now I don't trust any of them.

Which news stories?

Which news stories?

Pretty much the front page of CNN for the past 6 months.

Examples I can think of in the past week:

Clickbait Headline: 400,000 college people now terrified Trump going to take their public service loan forgiveness away (we had a thread on this this week)

10th paragraph in article: "We note that anyone who has a loan now already signed documents with the terms locked in"

Headline: Trump meets with leaders, signs some deals

All other news outlets go into way more details about the deals, its not just some after thought

Current headline on CNN:

1) Trump declares islam one of great religions, breaking sharply with past rhetoric (plama take: everything after the comma just there to troll the "rubes" Its not impartial)
2) Trump's new tone on islam unconvincing, experts say (plama take: I'm sure there are experts who liked it and like Trump, CNN won't report that. Of course they can find a random dude to give a quote saying it was bad)
3) On Islam, Trump is consistently inconsistent
4) Bergen - the real reason the saudi's rolled out the red carpet
5) Did president Trump bow or bend (plama take: seriously? you're trying to be a major news outlet.)

To the right I got

1) Tillerson held press conference without US press (plama take: I'm sure this is a mountain out of a molehill)
2) Roger Stone: This makes me wanna puke (plama take: I'm sure this guy is a blowhard)

The the really far right I Got

1) Chicago launches campaign in response to Trump's immigration policies
2) US deportation fears push immigrants further north (plama take, lol staph)
3) Melania gets rave review for the outfit (plama take: Finally, good news!)
4) North Korea fires Ballistic Missle
5) Comey's dad "Trump was scared to death" (plama take: Shut the hell up, shut up! Keep your mouth shut! Your son got nailed, keep your friggin' mouth shut. Ah 'Russiagate' my ass keep your, shut up!, Stay low. Shut the hell up. 'Russiagate' you mean, you kidding me.... Ah c'mon, The guy leaked, folks, let's be honest. I gotta listen to James Comey's old man now? You know who's lived in the bubble and has lived under the scenario where his kid has been a phenomenal public servant all this time? And now he's now he's trying to make excuses, now he's trying to disparage the guy who spent 246 days becoming president?

"Shut up! Put that guy on the stand. See if he's got the guts to talk to somebody whose going to ask him a tough question. Go ahead! Better yet, put his son on, lets see what he has to say. PUT YOUR SON ON! Don't hide. USA today. Come on, Come on talk shows. Come on now, Come on right now. Say that to me. Say that to anybody. Say that to somebody)

Yeah. So which news stories would you have rather seen?

How about highlight the fact that Saudi Arabia has new leadership and is looking to get rid of the whole religious police and westernize under new leadership. That seems a helluva lot more newsworthy the world should know.

How about analyze the deals that were made? Trump's whole thing was he was the dealmaker, analyze them, not marginalize them in the main headline.

Explain it to the general population, WakeandBake gets easily confused. He didn't go to Wake.

He based much of his campaign of slamming Islam constantly. Multiple times he said Islam hates America and the West. After the campaign he created an unconstitutional Muslim ban. This is 100% accurate.

2) Trump's new tone on islam unconvincing, experts say (plama take: I'm sure there are experts who liked it and like Trump, CNN won't report that. Of course they can find a random dude to give a quote saying it was bad)

Why should he be believed for one speech when he his rhetoric has been consistently inflammatory for over a year. It's been mean-spirited and constant. Again, this is totally logical. Add to this how many time Trump has changed his story about the Comey firing in just one week and why should this be believed. Again, Trump's own actions are at the center here.

3) On Islam, Trump is consistently inconsistent

He hasn't been inconsistent. He has been completely consistent in his hate-filled rhetoric.

4) Bergen - the real reason the saudi's rolled out the red carpet

I don't see what's wrong with that article.

5) Did president Trump bow or bend (plama take: seriously? you're trying to be a major news outlet.)

Faux News, every RW outlet and every RW talking head did the same to Obama. It was a major story. Payback is a biotch. The story should be "why isn't the right as outraged at Trump as they were with Obama?" But CNN doesn't have the balls to make the story about the right's hypocrisy.

So you still want Trump headlines, just headlines biased toward Trump.

Actually I want about as many headlines towards trump as there were towards obama the past 8 years, maybe slightly more because he is more interesting.

Where's info on the job reports, unemployment, economic indicators, the dow, etc. All the stuff that was important before. Its not important now because it's all positive and makes Trump look good.

I'm not saying they're wrong. I'm saying they're completely biased by doing and reporting as they do. You're just as much as a rube as you think Trump voters are. That's my point.

Most of you are too separated from distinguishing between biased reporting and fact. They can report all facts , yet be completely biased at the same time to push an agenda. Media shouldn't be pushing agendas.

I think they have been soft on Trump. There has never been a POTUS who has lied like he has. There's never been a POTUS who has had so many foreign agents at the top of his organization. These are facts.

How am I a "rube"? I'm using Trump's own actions, own words. I am using the factual evidence as stated by Flynn and even Trump's sons.

Facts aren't biased. Facts are facts.

I stopped after this

You think after knowing that Manafort was paid in excess of $12M by Putin's cut outs; Flynn was totally compromised; Trump's own sons have given interviews about the limitless flow of money from Russians to their projects;Trump made $55M from the sale of a property to a Russian with close ties to Putin (When there were no other bids); that buyer showed up at five or more Trump rallies with his private plane on the same runways as Trump.

Trump has told at least four stories about Comey.

Trump has given classified intel that jeopardizes Israeli assets to the Russians.

Trump fired the US Attorney in NYC (whom he promised to keep) who is investigating several of Trump's Russian friends.

Trump's constant stream of lies makes Nixon look like Diogenes.

This isn't close to everything. It's probably not even 50%. But that's not enough for you.

Nice troll.

Trump fired the acting AG for investigating Flynn and not being quiet about it.

There are many other things Trump has done. Any one of these would have caused wall-to-wall, non-stop coverage.
