2017 NBA Draft thread - JC drafted 19th to Atlanta, OUR... Hawks?

let's snuff out this 76ers hornets thing right now before it gets started. this is the nba draft thread, please discuss nba draft.

I was at lunch and ESPN's ticker had a mock draft showing the Hornets getting Malik Monk at #11. I almost jizzed on my plate.

I've never seen more of a lock than Justin Jackson/Luke Kennard to the Hornets this year

Which of course means monk will go at #10 and you'll reach for Justin Jackson

Unfortunately, you are all probably correct. I could also see Cho taking Zach Collins thinking he is John Collins. At least with the Russell trade we could avoid the certain draft debacle.

Hope that Collins is not the focus of the annual last dude left in the green room looking miserable montage.

That poor kid. He knows he is pretty much done. I know I am not supposed to feel sympathy for a dookie but Giles never should have left Childress. He lost 10s of millions of dollars of future income in the first few minutes of that Oak Hill game.

How you can watch the Wake-Duke game in Winston and then feel sorry for Giles is outside my ability to understand.

I'm #JustinJacksonIn. I think he'll be a player.

I'd like to see the Sixers or Spurs trade to get Jackson. When he gets with real coaches, he could become a star.

I also love the board's idea that any player can be a stud if they can someone find their way to the Spurs.

I also said Sixers and said real coaches. With a good coach, Jackson would have been a Top 10 pick a year or two ago. Forest was totally clueless on how to use Jackson.

Only won a championship while Jackson earned ACC POY (undeserved) and 1st Team All-American. He did okay.

justin jackson would probably be my least favorite option for hornets. already 22, can't create his own shot but not an elite shooter either (.339 3pt% for college career), despite age still slight frame, because of this versatile college defender but doubtful he'll be able to guard anything but NBA 3s.
