i mean you can make a role that does whatever you want, but you shouldn't call it the same thing mafiascum does if it isn't played the same way, and it should be explicit in your writeup to the player exactly what would happen. If you want to call that role the shitfuck transposing owl from the desert, I'm fine with that.
 
I agree with everyone else about the bus driver.

I'm cool with RSF running his game as he sees fit, I'd just like to know the change in rules ahead of time. It's an honest omission though.
 
Funny thing is this would have never even come to light if you had just processed the silence.

I'd agree that I could have been more detailed in the role description.
 
I mean in my next game I am not going to have this role: "you are a one shot civ doctor. Each night you may select a player and they die."

I could do that, but it would probably be better to call that role a civ vigilante.
 
Personally, I wouldn't want to play in a game where I was a cop, and I couldn't trust the mod responses to my investigation. That seems bastard-y to me. I don't see why I should ever say what gouda's original argument was (which he conveniently changed once toogs "agreed" with him), which was "Nonny is [Chic's inv alignment]".

And for the record, it went against what I said to do.

We had the ability to watch and track but could not do it on the same night, and could not do the same back-to-back nights. So obviously it makes sense to alternate nights.

Smidge decides not to use either the first night and thus night 2, we could only use one.

We don't alienate our already small player base.

And I'm pretty sure most of us are decent people as long as we aren't swinging around epeens (or etrafficcones in DV7's case).
