Wake Baseball 2017-Regional Champs! On to Supers!

@Les_Johns FYI, Griffin Roberts started tonight for Wareham. 4 IP, 1 ER, 5 H, 5 Ks on no walks for 58 pitches.

Yeah, I think we were about as good as anybody in the country, just needed a break or and we could be playing tonight.
 
Annoying Dyson had to get red hot. Might've been a different story otherwise
 
Looks like Florida is going to win the championship. Blowing the game open against the son of Karl Hess.
 
Congratulations to the University of Florida on winning the National Championship. One hell of a pitching staff and an excellent overall team.

Watch Dyson's star rise and we saw it first. Shoulda, coulda, woulda...
 
Wake seems to be good at losing in the playoffs to the eventual NC. I think I can remember 3 times in hoops, and now one in baseball. There may be more.

Congrats to UFla. We really needed to win game 1 in Gainesville. I had a real bad feeling, at its conclusion, that we would never get that game back.

Last time that we went to the super regionals was 1999. We lost to #1 overall seed Miami. They went on to win the national title too.

So, apparently it's a thing for us.
