No Labels will pull more R than D - it will be the libertarian nut jobs moving away from Trump to an "Independent thinker". As as aside, they are seeing that Sinema is pulling from R and not D so these 3rd party spoilers are more a problem for the extreme right than the left.

Yes, but space matters. It’s not only how many vote third party but where those voters live.

Yeah republicans are way more loyal to Trump then democrats are to anyone. Also, you had a lot of anger/frustration from Trumps covid response in 2020 which really helped Biden. If January 6th didn't destroy Trump...literally nothing will.

I wonder what happens if its someone like Christie who snags the nomination when Trump is in prison. Without the outright hatred voters have for Trump, and I presume Desantis, would Biden lose voters to general apathy about a race vs Christie? Or Haley or any non Trump/Destantis candidate?

Yeah, there's a reason dems are fighting having a no labels ticket on the ballot (and they lost in AZ). Majority of donors to the No Labels grift are Republicans. If the No Labels party put up Larry Hogan, for instance, it will draw Pubs away from Trump, but it will also draw independents who otherwise would vote for Biden, and probably some moderate dems. And then if we have West running in Bernie's place, he'll draw some of the Bernie votes away from Biden. And then factor in RFK Jr as an indy, pulling wackjobs on the left and right, and who knows. It's going to be a complete fucking mess in our shitty electoral system.
 
how much of a rube do you have to be to fall for No Labels? and how shitty of a person do you have to be to run as a candidate, possibly guaranteeing a Trump win? if it's Manchin, I think it just confirms how evil and awful of a person he is.

I don’t think the issue is who No Labels pulls from voters party wise but who they pull from the “moderate centrist independent” group.

Biden might lose voters to general apathy, but I think Christie would lose more from angry MAGA loyalists and apathy that comes from Christie being the nominee v Trump.
 
Christie is a loser, when he left office he was less popular than trump. He use to support trump and if trump became President again and offered any position to Christie he would immediately take it because he is currently saying what people want someone to say not that he believes it. His only poll bump is because he’s the only one saying it.
 
Personally I think Biden will beat Trump next year, but I think he would CRUSH anybody else the GOP puts up. It's the cult of Trump and the GOP can't nominate anybody else to even stand a chance.

Coupled with the fact that Trump will actively work - hopefully from prison - against any other nominee that isn't him.
