Chat Tread Raffi - Down By The Bay - Did you ever go to a basketball game, and steal concessions without shame ? ? ! ?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Yeah I’ve never been to Scotland but it’s on the list for sure. I don’t drink much anymore but would be super interested in a tour at one of the islay distilleries. Plus all the outdoors stuff.
 
The other team’s coach today asked my daughter if she would play on our county’s travel basketball team and I can’t think of any more pointless way to waste my weekends than 8 yo aau.
 
So the hotel I’m at we went out to grab a glass of wine and were out for maybe an hour and when we got back they had cleaned up the room, re folded the bed sheet, put my wife’s watch which was on a table on a little piece of cloth to protect it and laid out two sets of robes and slippers on the bed

Almost saw a fight at the coed 6u basketball game at the YMCA this morning. Opposing coach's son was running without dribbling and lowering his shoulder into the girls on our team. Ain't no wrath like a black mother when her daughter is being beaten on and the ref is doing nothing. She walked out on the court, stopped about 10ft from the ref and let him have it.
 
Also want to go back to Iceland and do a ton more outdoors stuff. Maybe bring backpacking gear through the airport like a bohemian young person.

I do enjoy the conversations I have in the airport when I’m rocking my backpack a lot more than when I’m rolling luggage.

Unpopular opinion
I don’t let anyone come clean my hotel room during my stay. I don’t want anyone touching my stuff or wiping the toilet and sink with the same rag.

If I want extra towels I’ll have them sent up

What’s the difference in cleaning while you’re there and cleaning before you get there?
