Had to start a thread since yall banned RJ Karl. Anyone got any good Oaks or Derby selections?

I see Kelsey is wisely all over social media taking advantage of the marketing opportunity.

Rain here today. Looking ok tomorrow.
 
Sentimental favorite, though long shot, is West Saratoga. Worth a small bet just to share in an unlikely but feel-good win.

The derby threads were some of my favorites. I miss the tags.

I think I saw an ad yesterday for FanDuel that said they are the only authorized platform for horses in NC. Didn't follow through to see if that was in fact true but just FYI.

I attended the Derby with some clients back in the day. IMHO, one of the most overrated venues in all of sports. But I don't own Tier 1 condominiums at Myrtle Beach. Only Tier 2 and 3.
 
In VA, you can bet on the Derby (or any other horse track, including Australian race tracks at midnight, not that I've never done that or anything) via the Fan Duel app. You have to take an extra step to get to the horse racing betting page on FD, but you can use your sportsbook balance to fund the bets. They are offering a $20 free bet on the Derby, which is a nice perk.

Fallica, among others, picks "Just an FYI" (#13) and "Ways and Means" (#11) in today's Oaks (Just an FYI is a beast - bigger than the Derby horses). Will be on Just an FYI. FWIW, Just an FYI and Derby horse (see below) "Just a Touch" were sired by 2018 Triple Crown Winner "Justify".

Fallica, among others, likes "Just a Touch" (#8 in the Derby). Among the longshots that show promise: #7 Honor Marie, #3 Mystik Dan. Fierceness is the favorite; he has by far the best speed figure; if he runs his best race, he will win, but Fierceness is not consistent, and probably not worth the short price in such a big field.

My BookMaker site has about everything.

Several good mudders just in case are supposed to be: Dornoch, Mystic Dan & Sierra Leone who have all won races in bad conditions.

Forever Young is 5/5 on wins but Japanese or UAE horses have still never won the Derby.

Honor Marie can run all day and smart money likes this horse. But this horse doesn’t like mud just in case it gets sloppy.

Just a Touch is a son of Justify

Gotta put Fierceness & Sierra Leone in your trifecta boxes. I have a 2/8/11/17/19 so far.
