Call all you want. He's from Oklahoma originally and used to live in Cleveland. He like the idea of living in a livable place and that's why he CHOSE to be an assistant with the Bobcats and Hornets and CHOSE to be the coach of the CHARLOTTE 49ers instead of making the same mistake twice and going back to Atlanta. The only coach that Judy Rose ever let walk was Melvin Watkins, but he was an idiot because he went to Texas A&M where he got fired but we had Bobby Lutz locked and loaded and ready to go. Bobby's at NCST now if you're looking for a coach.

You realize that Price has lived in Atlanta (actually Duluth) for basically his entire time since he left school, right? He's worked for the Hawks, been a fixture at GT games (Lord knows it was hard to miss him, nobody else was at those games) and worked with the coaching staffs. Hell, he directly interviewed for the GT coaching job in 2011 (when it went to Brian Fucking Gregory). His family is entirely in the Atlanta area (his wife is a Tech grad as well). He basically is an Atlanta institution at this point, lol.

Anyways, if it works out and he does well at UNCC - who knows what the utterly incompetent GT athletic department will do. But they'd be completely remiss to not get him to drive back home.
 
Will anyone even show up anymore at the Joel to witness the disaster that plays there every so often?

Crowds will dwindle down the final few games and people will hibernate for 7-8 months, buy into the 2016 season hype and we'll have some good crowds next year. Hopefully it won't be a rinse and repeat scenario.
 
The bottom line is that if Price has any success, he will flee Charlotte for a bigger pond.
