2019 offical College Football thread

The playoff may be exciting in theory but a ton of these semifinal games have been awful. Today is the best support for NOT expanding to 8. We’d be better off back at 2 than expanding.

The way the teams fell this year, BCS wouldn't worked ok - like the USC/Texas rose bowl when it was clear the whole season who the 2 best teams were. But that's not always the case. The 4 seed has won it twice in the first 4 years.

True but I do find it interesting that the playoff committee #1 and #2 every year has been what the BCS #1 and #2 would’ve been.

The college football season might as well just be a 7 game series between Alabama and Clemson.
 
The top-heavy nature of college football is getting really boring.
