No clear winner and lots of cash spent. Bloomberg wipes them all out on super tuesday
I fully realize that the dnc is a loosely run pretty powerless and inept organization. They of course don't administer the iowa caucus to boot. Enjoy your conspiracy theories.I see that the Tammany Twins (NE & Chris) are in full damage control for the DNC this morning
It is completely ridiculous that reporting is the issue when the votes were public. People know the results of their precinct. CNN even showed us some results. It would have made more sense for the IDP to just tell all the precincts to post their results on Twitter at 11 pm EST and then tabulate the state totals from there.
This is a huge win for the established candidates, Bernie and Biden. Pete won’t get the boost he’s banking on. Warren won’t get to finish ahead of Bernie. Amy won’t get a shot at finishing ahead of Biden in 4th. And Bernie and Biden seem to have a stranglehold on the next three states.

Yep. Pete got absolutely criminally robbed last night in what should have been the key moment of his campaign.
Bernie wins because he gets to play the victim again, while Biden gets to hide his horrible showing.
This is the democracy the DNC is bringing to the table.
Probably not but declaring victory before the count is even official is up there.
Wait, wasn't there concern that one of the candidates would do that?

#MayorCheat is trending on twitter along with #PeteTheCheat.
What happened to the party of inclusiveness and acceptance?
Dammit, the democrats are going to fuck this up again.
the bigger picture just FYI
weird time for ChrisL and Ph to be claiming Ws
Wait, wasn't there concern that one of the candidates would do that?
I’ll wait for Ph and whoever posted the original story to admit that...
Aides with two top-tier campaigns told POLITICO they worry the Sanders campaign or other pro-Sanders forces — which will be receiving unofficial precinct results from allies in real time — will disseminate that information through social media or publicly claim victory after the first vote, an act that could distort the eventual results in a variety of ways.
It sounds like Bernie won outright with Liz or Pete finishing in second and Biden finishing in fourth. Of course, we’ll have finished another primary by the time that we actually know but we pretty much know. Cynical Pete knows how the game is played these days.
what are the arguments against a national primary day with ranked choice voting?
The article said there were fears that Bernie's people would put misleading numbers out on social media.

Looks like their plan worked.
I think you need a multi-stage primary to winnow down big fields. Ranked choice with 15+ candidates would be a shit show. The goal of the primary season should be a build consensus around a candidate. Ranked choice measures that but wouldn't do it. Instead of building consensus over time, it would be more like settling.
