Ha, I have fond memories of 2003. Winning the ACC regular season was awesome even if they flamed out in both tournaments. Purdue lives Wake’s 2003 all the time.

watched the end of the NC State - UVA regulation. That's a horrible coaching job by Tony Bennett.

You have 3 team fouls. You are up 3. You are shooting a free throw. You have a timeout. What should you do? You should put two men up at the free throw line and tell them to pursue an offensive rebound as if their lives depend on it. Worst case - they get called for team foul #4 with 5 seconds to play, at which point you instruct your team to hack the everloving shit out of NC State as they are crossing midcourt.

Instead Tony stands there like a dumbass and watches his team allow NC State time to let the ball bounce, collect the ball moving toward the basket, and actually get off a shot. What a horrible sequence for Tony.

Wake made a run to the ACC semis in 2006 when we were the 12th seed.

That '06 season was weird.

Beat George Mason (F4 with Larranga) and played Florida (champions) tough in back-to-back games by mid-November. Were 11-2 with two good wins before ACC season. Awful conference season, the Strickland missed dunk, etc.

Then randomly beating a good N.C. State team twice in less than a week, and making the ACC semis.
