2024 Wake Baseball Thread: What Did We Do To Deserve This?

Can we just set up a sheet of plywood with double-sided tape on it to play catcher? Might improve our offense out of the position, too.
 
Our lineup is getting destroyed by true freshmen in a key series. It’s not just lack of production from Kurtz, although that’s a huge problem. We just don’t have many good batters.
 
How the hell did he hit that pitch that far with that golf swing he made at it.
 
17 yr old kid from the Goats pitching has been good until this inning. Got to give it to the boy for his age and not being intimidated until the bottom of the 4th.
 
that was such bad baserunning in so many ways. winnay not running out of the box, king with the horrible lead on 2nd, bad job on the throwing error and then not forcing any throws on the pickle play. oh well
 
as others have stated, i keep waiting for kurtz to break out. some sort of mean reversion. but at this rate, to mean revert to average he would have to hit 59829496 homers in a row

This feels like a crucial game for our season. Gotta jump start some momentum at some point. Come on Deacs!
