2024 Wake Baseball Thread: What Did We Do To Deserve This?

Our offensive struggles this week just came out of nowhere.
 
All season I would not be worried about a 7 run deficit because they'd play like they could score 20. Now 7 feels like a mountain. Just get on base guys

Agreed but it feels like we aren’t built for the really big inning without ever knowing what you are going to get with the 7,8,9 hitters. Doesn’t mean we can’t score runs but that really big inning has eluded us in conference play.
 
Thinking we blew our chance last inning with bases loaded, no outs, and only 3 runs.
 
Do we lead the conference in HRs given up? Pretty sure UNC had double digits in that series.
 
Can someone explain Walter subbing a hitter who is batting under .200?
 
how is this team 6-17 in the ACC? they play very clean baseball.

Bizarre. Absolutely inexplicable. Not even close to .200 either. Just guessing he can come in to play D whereas others like Katz might not be a viable D option?
