BBall Recruiting Thread 2k18 - Hoard, Mucius, Lewis, and Wright sign NLIs!

I see. He is the only 2018 C listed as having a Wake offer. Danny needs to be serious about a C in the fall 2019 entering class. Doral will have graduated, Sam may or may not learn how to really play basketball and Sarr is unknown, but could be on the Collins program and leaving for the NBA or overseas, if he is as good as appears from the limited info available.

Yeah the 2018 class is so unbelievably weak for bigs that's probably his game plan. Taking a versatile 3 like Mucius who you could put down low on occasion on O and guard anywhere from 6'6-6'10 is key unless the staff falls in love with Darius Days or Tyrese Samuel

The Nike EYBL event this weekend was in LA and players often check out local campuses around the AAU events, especially if the schools are involved in recruiting said player. Likely not much to read into him seeing USC at the moment.

Couldn't you say the same thing about Hoard visiting Wake multiple times because he happens to live down the road?

Being at multiple Wake games and hanging out with the players is a bit different than dropping by USCs campus after a one time AAU tournament

Southern Cal is in the ghetto...

Not really

You're right, Strick. They only hear gang shooting at about 20-30% of their football practices...

Both are about convenience and can't just automatically be considered genuine interest.

I'm not downplaying him visiting USC, rather just saying that he didn't make a special trip to visit. He was in the area and stopped by.

Your statement about Hoard visiting Wake more often than others due to proximity does have some truth to it as well but I tend to lean towards TITSWF's analysis.
