I hope Arkeem turns out better than the last signing day surprise named Byrd. Remember Joseph Byrd - the guy from Ft Myers that we flipped from Arkansas on signing day in 2010? If I recall, he was supposed to come in late due to some academic issues and was never heard from again.

Would be nice to get Riley Cole but sounds very unlikely.

Among the schools that have reached out in the days since Cole's decommitment are multiple Big 12 and Big Ten schools, all but one SEC program and even communication with the Alabama staff in an attempt to reconnect. Prior to his commitment to Alabama, Wake Forest and South Alabama were Cole's only other offers.
