ESPN writer Eammon Brennan blogs about Wake censorship (post 31)

Most of the folks that have listened to Ron are pushing 80 and the idea of more wholesome players really appeals to them. Theysee Bz as a kind of overgrown boy scout going through the awkward early teen years. As Tories they are very slow to believe that these hardworking players won't turn the corner because Ron says they will.Generally speaking they are well meaning but they have been deceived. The next few months will make this painfully clear to most of them.

If this is true, then perhaps the Wake monorail will happily, finally become a reality...

Anyone who saw Creans teams play knew that Crean could coach and that it was simply a matter of getting a few good recruits and he would bring Indiana back around. I have yet to see a well coached game/team effort in the Bz era. We make simple mistakes over and over. Our spacing is awful, our defensive identity is nowhere to be found, we don't put our best players in a position to succeed, and the list goes on.

The reason I can't bear to watch many wake games is because I gave myself a concussion with all the face palms. We just play bad basketball 3/4 of the time. That has nothing to do with talent. It has everything to so with coaching.

[Redacted]'s enthusiasm and impeccable fashion sense were all the inspiration this fat, balding, dwarf needed to get off the couch, wash away the face paint, and hike to Subway for a footlong. From dwarves everywhere, thank you Jeff!

I thought having Herb and Fowler were bad good lord  reading this almost makes them look serviceable

Another article by Jason King on ESPN.com had a small tidbit for Buzz:

RAPID FIRE

Underachieving: Villanova
Underrated: Missouri Valley Conference
Overdue: Mike Anderson, Arkansas
Overweight: Shabazz Muhammad, UCLA
Continues to amaze: Brad Stevens, Butler
Continues to disappoint: Jeff [Redacted], Wake Forest
Team we should be talking about more: Pittsburgh
Another team we should be talking about more: Oregon
Don't sleep on: DePaul
Player I love to interview: Grant Gibbs, Creighton
Player I want to interview: Marcus Smart, Oklahoma State
Player who deserves more ink: Sean Kilpatrick, Cincinnati

Disappoint seems too nice. Is there a word stronger than disappoint?

Continues to...
