FSU Game Review / Bye Week and Army Game Thread

We need to do to Army what they do to others. Run the ball about 80%. 250 yards rushing should do it.

Is their #3 rushing defense in the country and the fact that they have only given up one 100yd rushing all season this past weekend against North Texas due to their D being good or their ball control scheme?

It's due to their schedule.

No excuse to lose this game. Coming off a bye at home.

How similar are Tulane's and Army's running schemes? Hopefully prepping for the former in week one will help for the latter.

Listened to Clawson's weekly press conference and he made Army sound like a top 10 team. You can never say that DC runs down an opponent. Hopefully, the team does not take Army lightly and comes out ready o play. Win the TO battle and own the line of scrimmage!

Hell Bud, after listening to Clawson I just hope our team isn't overawed by the Army juggernaut.

Tulane's coach, Willie Fritz, and Army's coach Jeff Monken, both coached at Georgia Southern before moving on to their current jobs. Georgia Southern has been an option team forever (Paul Johnson also coached there). So, I think the Army and Tulane schemes are very similar.

win this game and the pressure is off the rest of the year. Would be playing with house money the rest of the way

The goal for now..............8-4 regular season..............then win the bowl game.

Yes, we are capable of this.

BobHWS, is you last name Zapruder? Nice find on the photographic evidence. Let's win the next one, and dream on Sunday.

Army always plays us tough and the games are close, no reason to expect anything different this time

It is funny to me that people say things like "no excuse not to win". Wake is a 7 point favorite, which correlates to about a 70% chance of victory.

Still setting 10-2 at this point for the season goal. Of course 2 teams would have to REALLY help us!
