Retired US Soccer / World Cup Thread (RIP)

Not that those teams in rounds one and two have a real chance anyway, but it would suck to be out of the tournament three years before the finals begin.
 
Panama was in the second round last time. Of course, they qualified at a canter (and there's an extra round now)

Jozy has come home(almost). Toronto and Sunderland swap Defoe for Altidore.
 
Matt Hedges added to January camp roster. Jozy will join as well once move to Toronto is officially complete.

He's pretty good. FC Dallas defender. Probably the best American defender in MLS other than Besler and Gonzalez (in better form than both at the moment). No reason why he wasn't already called in before today other than Jurgen.
 
Lee Nguyen and MB4 together in the midfield is gonna have me erect for a full 90. If they pair together with Deuce and Altidore up top things could get fun

Yeah but the east coast latino population is gnerally much more non-Mexican than the rest of the country

So that could be part of the reason
 
CONCACAF was in charge of setting the venues; not USSF.

Still looks like best case scenario for us. At least the stadium won't be a 95%/5% split this time
