Running ACC Hoop Thread

Not ACC but ron baker is good kid. When a Indiana state senior was being taken out he had his arm around him and told the crowd to give the player a hand. Good to see that kind of sportsmanship.

Marshall also gave him a big hug and they were both smiling at whatever he said in the handshake line. It sure beats our wet blanket of a coach...

If anybody wants a dosage of complete college sports randomness, Steve Francis rushed the court

It'd be fun to see him get another shot at Syracuse, though Miami is no cakewalk and they just pounded State by 15 in Raleigh a week ago.

That's the hardest "quadrant" of the tourney IMO. Duke's is the easiest. Seems like they always get a cake draw and usually win the tourney when they have the #3 seed

Like this list. Guess Ennis was #6.

JMM and Fair getting on first and second team is hilariously bad. Fair had high usage but was pretty average offensively. JMM was a little better on offense but didn't do anything special. Just laughable how the media fellates big time players.

Really glad to see McDaniels make it. I think he deserved first team, but I wasn't expecting them to actually vote him into it....

Can't understand why Fair isn't a good choice. Being the highest usage player and scoring 17 PPG on a 27-4 top 10 team is good, no? I'd argue Fair wasn't the most consistent of players throughout the season, but he had some excellent performances against very good competition. I don't have a KenPom subscription though.

In the coaches poll Warren was left off first team by one coach. Can't believe it.

Please tell me it wasn't Bz.
