Shaka doesn't fit the Wellman mold. He's a players coach, and Wellman doesn't want that...we might get some more players who don't represent MSD well, or whatever bullshit excuse Ron is shoveling this week.

I wish folks could separate their emotions and excitement about winning a couple games, and the obvious potential of some of our younger players, from the equally obvious lack of leadership and sophisticated coaching. It's great that these young players are trying so hard and sticking together. But for chrissakes, watch the whole game and watch the overall lack of fundamentals and understanding....it's sometimes appalling. Watch how hard it is for our offense to actually work. watch how many defensive errors we have, even from the experienced players. Take nothing away from courageous perfomances by the younger guys and CJ and Travis. But are they clinically "good" performances? Could the team survive without a career high from CJ? Not really imo. We aren't good enough as a team. The way we play on an every game basis is the key to being successful. It almost always feels like we have won some of these games in spite of ourselves, not because of ourselves. What we've done the last couple games won't last unless we play alot better when it counts in tougher games. We've had the chance to show we got it against these weaker teams, but I can't see we have got it yet....and I don't feel we've ever really seen it from Bz coached teams at Wake. Blame it on the recruits or players if you want but good teams play good ball based on how they're coached.

Fusion, don't talk about fundamentals. Hell, we just passed BC and are no longer dead last in the conference in FG% D. And we're now only getting barely outrebounded - but we don't need any more bigs.

That's just depressing. You're talking about the lost decade for Wake basketball.

It's inconceivable that 3 seasons of winning and progressively improving NCAAT performance justifies firing the coach (Dino); but 3 years of unprecented losing justifies giving the coach (Buzz) a fourth year? In what universe could this scenario possibly be considered logical? It is certainly not logical in this universe. In fact, it is incomprehensible. Nothing Jeff [Redacted] has done until now or could do before the end of the season justifies letting him waste another year.

BuzzOUT! till he's gone...

Yes, I'm talking about such a lost decade. Unless you fire Premier Wellman, give me a reason to believe otherwise.

Not a Bz fan by any means but at this point I'd like to see what happens the rest of the season before I cast judgment.

Remember this? This is what I want to see again but after the last game of the season. Buzzledick does NOT get us there. Damn that looks good below, don't it? Who gets us back here?

Still Bdz Out as I'm not judging him based off of this year and the past ones. I'm judging his past 2.5 years compared to the previous ones. He dug this hole so I'm not going to applaud him every time he gets closer to where Wake started before he was hired.

Only 4 years ago.

But we had "thugs" on the team back then.....

Buzz-in, Buzz-out, what's the difference? This board's energy is great. It's target selection sucks; Buzz didn't hire himself.

I don't understand the reluctance to go after Wellman, the one who perpetrated this atrocity.

Is it somehow connected to what, I think, is your misguided devotion to Grobe, or does it have more to do with the coaches of non-revenue sports, about whom I am completely unfamiliar?

Where do you get the idea that Wellman isn't a target?

Just from reading the threads, dude. It seems to me that the majority of posters on this board would be delighted if Wellman fired Buzz and hired a new coach.

Crazy that we beat Baylor (neutral), @BYU, North Carolina, & @Clemson, but people were still voting for Duke.

Bz wil lead us to the Final Four when they finally let eighth graders declare for the NBA and all college basketball has left is players who were scrubs in seventh grade and walk ons.

Plenty of people are wary of Wellman hiring another coach. Still Wellman and new coach hired by a committee is better than what we have now. You need to read more.

Do a search and read threads with Wellman in the title. He has little support.

Of the 58 Buzzin voters, 18 have ZERO posts, another 5-6 look to have 5-20 posts, and there are a few recognizable parodies as well (OldGoldandGrobe, etc). Either Moonz is busy logging in/out or the AD is working overtime now that we have a few wins over crap teams.

These are people that were too proud to register, but secretly lurked without signing in. Now, they don't have that option and are forced to mingle with us cretins.
