The 2016 Panthers Thread: Keep Pounding

Team did what they needed to do in the first four weeks. Rest up, get everyone healthy, and make the most out of this tough stretch ahead.

Three straight national games coming up followed by the Packers.

2-2 would be totally acceptable over the next four games.

Oh yeah. It's just going to suck watching the Falcons take the division lead by playing the Skins, Saints, Titans, and Bucs.

4-0 is obviously the best you can do.

You have to think if we take care of business we'll be in the playoffs. Going to be an interesting race with the Falcons.

The Cards and Vikings losses were helpful for the standings.

Yep, just need the Lions to do the unthinkable and win tomorrow night and it'll have been a productive weekend.

When is timdunk going to change the thread title ? It should have been changed days ago.

The Official 2015 Carolina Panthers: 3-0!

As is, we are two games up for a Wild Card spot and one of only four teams with 3 or more wins.

Fox just went to break with a shot of the Panthers locker room. I think Delaire got a game ball. If so, it was deserved especially if Norman got one too.

By the way, either outcome tonight is good for us.

Ryan Delaire's game today was straight Gettlemagic.

2-2 in the next 4 would be awesome.

Still the case due to the Cowboys losing to go 2-2.

Crazy to be talking playoff scenarios already, but last night's result was generally helpful, I think. We want the NFC East to be a mess so that only the division champ will come out of there, and we've already beaten the Saints once (and still have a three game lead on them).

80% of 4-0 teams make the playoffs. By Contrast 60% of 3-1 teams make it. So yesterday's win was big. This season 2 teams will come out of the south with the NFC lEAST playing the role of 7-9 Playoff team.

The Falcons have played a tougher schedule than us so far, but it's not like it's leaps and bounds better.

Just read a column saying the NFC South is the division in the league. Nice to see.

link?

Also, no surprise, but Peter King didn't have Cam in his top 5 for MVP after the first quarter of the season. Matt Ryan was on there, though. But he has Julio. Cam has rejects and also-rans.

Josh Norman grades out as best corner in the league on PFF.
