A Danny Drinkwater signs article cropped up on the Chelsea website, but was apparently taken down. Same thing happened with Morata apparently, so it looks like DD may end up in London. Fee is rumored to be 32m.

Drinkwater to Chelsea? That has all the makings of their brilliant Scott Parker signing from the mid 00s.

Insane. Demari Gray is just waiting for a chance and you sign someone to play ahead of him that isn't any better and might be worse? Craziness.


Wouldn't mind a sneaky bid for Gray and let him develop some in cup games and sub apps off the bench at MUFC. Still only 21 years old.

Hard to tell how much validity there is to the Townsend stuff right now. The rumored fee was 27m, which is ridiculous for Townsend even in this market.

I think if he comes at all it will be to provide another option on the wing if Mahrez leaves, or to replace Gray if we sell him. Gray wants to be starting and will likely only move if he can be guaranteed a starting spot.
 
Arsenal deny reports that Alexis Sanchez handed in a transfer request today.
 
We understand Monaco have rejected two bids from Liverpool for Thomas Lemar.

The latest bid was around £64.8m (€70m) and Monaco want Lemar to stay at the club beyond this summer’s transfer window.
 
Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are reportedly close to an agreement for the transfer of Diego Costa.

The Daily Mirror say the two clubs are nearing a £30m compromise, although Atletico are yet to find a club to loan the striker to until their transfer ban is lifted in January.
