having two small daughters, I understand why it’s much easier to villainize transwomen as a threat, rather than think about the very frightening and depressing reality of who is most likely to commit sexual assault - close relatives, family friends, boyfriends, mostly all men who girls and women know and trust who spend time with them alone in private. Not a goddamn college swimmer at an NCAA event, or somebody shaving their legs at Planet Fitness.
