So far, 8 WF players have been drafted this year:
2nd round: Stu Fairchild - Reds
2nd round: Gavin Sheets - White Sox
7th round: Parker Dunshee - A's
7th round: Ben Breazeale - O's
11th round: Donnie Sellers - Jays
19th round: Jonathon Pryor - Nats
21st round: Connor Johnstone - Braves
29th round: Griffin Roberts - Twins
Would think that's a WF record, and a couple more still could get taken.
WF's 3 weekend starters, the WF closer, and WF's 1, 3, 4 and 5 hitters.
I think the hope is that he would improve.I don't see how Roberts can be a starter. Seems like he can pitch only 2, maybe 3 innings before he loses control.
if sellers and roberts decide to come back, our pitching is gonna take a big step next year. roberts-sellers-peluse with mcsweeney closing and hopefullysome of the freshman arms contributing. is farish coming back?
Farish is a senior. He actually got drafted last year but not this year. His workload drastically decreased.
Farish did not play as a true freshman and was a redshirt junior this year, with a year of eligibility remaining
Nice! So he has a good shot of being in the rotation, I'd imagine?
Since he didn't mention sellers at all I'm wondering if he thinks sellers is gone and Roberts is returning
