Your Favorite Musical

One that hasn't been mentioned that kind of blew me away a few years ago is Next to Normal. I get dragged to a lot of musicals and very rarely does anything new impress me. But this one did.
 
If you ever saw the Will Rogers Follies I am betting you hummed that song “ Never met a man I didn’t like” and heard it in your head for weeks. I liked the show, but man it stuck in your head.
 
Guys and Dolls [Frank Loesser] is a great show. Company [Stephen Sondheim] is an interesting show. The Music Man [1962] is the best Hollywood treatment of a Broadway show.
 
I am supposed to take in "Memphis" later this month. Anyone like it?
 
The best movie to a B'way musical was The Producers.
 
Les Mis, South Pacific, and I can't believe not mentioned: Hair.
 
Fiddler was almost on my list. So many good musicals.
