Idk, the defense had to be better than awful, which they were not aside from the one play by Burns. It looks like another draft of all defensive players to me. Our secondary is incredibly bad.
 
Also seemed like we got out schemed today

And yes I meant the O had to be perfect because the D was so bad

Also, only enforced penalty was the defensive hold that extended an eventual TD drive

Which is why the FG wasn’t the right move. Both were unlikely but it’s hard to justify a very long kick to tie with so much time left on the clock.
 
Cam got benched for Stidham early in the 4th. They're getting destroyed by the Niners.

Would love to see CMC come back on Thursday before a long week going into the Chiefs game.

Teddy B is a baller, there is a path forward for this team quicker than we though.

All in on BPA defense/O-Line in this draft and we're in business in late 2021 or 2022.
 
Look losing by 3 to the Saints on the road is nothing to be embarrassed about. Yeah D couldn’t get off the field, but O looks frisky and the young guys are going to get better plus CMC will be back. Gotta take care of biz on Thursday and kick the Falcons while they’re down.
