Wake Baseball 2021 | Cusick (1st) + Fleming, Seymour, Menendez, Muntz Drafted

Gavin Sheets hit his 9th HR of the season for the White Sox last night in a 9-3 win over the Angels. Sheets has been playing everyday in September and seems likely that he will play a role for the ChiSox this post-season. FWIW, did a quick check and it appears that 9 home runs in a single MLB season is the most ever by a former Diamond Deac. Both Tommy Gregg and Mac Williamson topped out at 6, and Cory Sullivan was never a HR guy despite playing for Colorado.

Also, fellow 2017 Diamond Deac player Stuart Fairchild has made his MLB debut for the D'backs.
 
Wake with probably the best recruiting class we have had and a 3rd baseman who should be among the best players on the nation. Time for results.
