I genuinely do not think there is a single person that reads ogboards.com that cares at all what you hope for

MLB teams drafted three others with WF connections:
- 14th Round TB Rays draft Antonio Menendez (Jays are savvy; heading into the season Menendez looked to go in the first 10 rounds, maybe first 5; Menendez gets hurt doesn't pitch and the Rays look to get him on the cheap)
- 15th Round AZ DBacks draft Shane Muntz
- 16th Round Pirates select WF 2021 recruit Daniel Corona (Corona already said that he would honor his WF commitment, but that is dependent know and how much the Rays save on their other signings, but the Pirates have the largest pool of money to spend on 2021 draft picks: $14,394,400 (FWIW, the Astros have the least: $2,940,600).
I would expect Corona would be a backup for Bubba Chandler, the Clemson QB commit. Chandler wanted 4M reportedly. Pirates saved some money on the 1st overall to use for Chandler.
The Hartle kid is a fool for turning down 2 million dollars. I’d be shocked if he gets that after 3 years at wake. Maybe I’m wrong but unless the kids parents are loaded it’s a bonehead move.

Tim Duncan was the odds-on choice to be the #1 pick in the draft after his freshman, sophomore and junior years, but instead he decided to come back to MSD every year. That would not have been my recommendation, but in hindsight it worked out pretty well for him. In no way comparing their paths to MLB, but maybe Josh Hamilton and others like him at age 18 would have benefited for a few years of the college experience.
It’s almost like the kid has total freedom to decide the best path for himself. Crazy.
Brock Wilken is tearing up the Cape Cod league leading hits, doubles and RBI. He is also hitting .337 (3rd in the Cape League) for the Harwich Mariners. Wilken is further raising his profile for MLB scouts.
