Thinking about it more, Kenny Atkinson saw what awaits for his benchmate Mike Brown with the Kings. Atkinson probably got a pay bump to stay and move up to AHC. He could guide Steph, Klay, and Draymond's ride into the sunset and the development of the new class. Probably win another ring or two and wait for the right opportunity to come along.

Bridges is set to get overpaid by someone. Smart for the Hornets to avoid signing a deal they'll instantly regret.
 
"Hesitant" and "not doing it" are two different things. They are just throwing this sandbag out there to have other teams doubt his value in the hopes they can re-sign him for somewhere in the 25-28 mil range. But they will match either way. He is worth a max to them.

He is a borderline all star, two-way wing with great size who is still only 24 years old and who has improved significantly every year, and who also happens to be best friends with their generational PG. Even if they slightly overpay for him, who cares? Who the hell else are they going to be able to get to fill that role?
 
The Lakers, Clippers, and Knicks are said to be trying to get Kyrie. Buckle up.

Yep. If the Nets could get something like Mann, Powell, Hartenstein, and two picks, that would be a good haul that would help them be competitive next year with future assets to move for another star along with the 2027 first from the Harden trade.
 
and kawhi is so aloof he'd probably ignore the kyrie circus. And if Kyrie decides to just not play no one else in the league can relate more than Kawhi
 
How would the Lakers even be in the hunt for Kyrie? They have no assets to offer aside from Westbrook. Maybe Kyrie playing with Lebron or for Ty Lue will be good for him. You didn't hear as much about how crazy he is when he was in Cleveland.

Might make sense for the Clips to gamble on Kyrie cause their window is closing/hasn’t really materialized with the injuries. After what we’ve seen in Boston and Brooklyn though? I’d just run it back.
 
The hit piece is that Kyrie would grab five guys and do extra practice.
 
since the nets were never very good - the question is who was the bad coach - nash or kyrie?!
 
i read that Kyrie has one year left for 36mil...the Nets have to get from under that contract or resigning. they have to try to move him and let someone else carry that baggage.
