Dam, Diggs. We've looked there before. I seem to remember it was $$$$. The Charlotte flight situation to St. Lucia has been much more challenging than other Caribbean islands too when we've looked.

Hawaii is hard to beat. Maui if you're into watersports, but Kauai is prettier and better if you want a more laid-back atmosphere. Be aware that the north shore of Kauai is better (calmer) in the summer and the south shore better in winter.
