I just remember how it was during the 2008-2009 season and how far it has fallen since. Sad.

1. I know the recording is pretty amateur hour. I take full responsibility, especially for the annoying mouse clicks and pant swishing you can hear. I did not realize the Iphone recorder would pick that up.

2. I also apologize that it cuts off at the end. Mersk862 would not quit trying to call me and I finally caved in.

3. Apologies for the long turn around time. This is the first movie I've made and I really don't know what I'm doing.

My call next week:

"Coach, let's talk about recruiting a little bit. Can you please let us know what your strategy is moving forward? It seems like we are in solid position with some of the top guards in the state, which is very exciting. However, it does not appear as though we have any desire to recruit or sign any top caliber big men? Can you comment on this? Also, I know everyone was very disappointed to see Daniel Green go down with an injury in the preseason. Is he redshirting? Either way, how in the world do you plan on recruiting going forward, with a seven or eight man class. Are you actively planning on players transferring out of the program? Is that part of your "culture change" here at Wake Forest? Because it seems to be a recurring issue that you try to play as a positive. Please explain this to us.

Is this the Duke game circa '03-'04 when they left all the t-shirts on the seats in the lower arena? If so, I got two of the black ones, and only recently retired them.

Hanes made a hell of a t-shirt then.

If attacked by callers, Skip might have quoted Whitman, Twain, maybe even Sartre. This clown just seemed surprised by any caller that questioned how he was handling the program. He only deemed to respond to the question about denying the post when he was asked the follow-up. His answers to the other questioners seemed like the coaches version of the tutorial that Crash Davis gave Nuke LaLoosh on how to answer reporter's questions.

Furthermore, his dismissal of his callers dripped with condescension. There really is nothing more irritating than ignorant arrogance.

I guess communication skills weren't real high on the curriculum at Illinois-Chicago.

Here's a question that should be asked.

"Coach you keep harping that you are teaching rebounding and the kids aren't getting it, but looking at the kenpom analytics going back to your AF days, your teams have never been in the top 50% of college hoops in rebounding overall and are always among the worse offensive rebounding teams in the nation. From this, it would appear that the problem is systematic and not a player communication issue. Have you considered this? Also, do you think a team can win at this level with such poor rebounding?"
