Pit Secret Santa 2012 (gifts and such)

Part 2/2 of my gift should arrive today. It is preceding Part 1/2, unfortunately.

Bourbon was my own addition. They will be drowning in it tonight.
 
So I thought I would be all clever and ship my gift in an unnecessarily big box. Turns out the shipping for said box would have cost more than the gift itself, so I had to hastily repackage my gifts into a flat rate box. So whoever receives my gift, it was not shipped by a clumsy elementary schooler.
 
Just received my gift! Worlds largest gummy worm! I'll post a pic when I get to my laptop tonight. Thanks, Santa!
 
SD3, I was your Santa. The gummy worm was supposed to arrive after your sensible gift. Hope you like it anyway :)
 
If you were not aware, I have recently taken up the hobby of Homebrewing. It's a lot of fun and extremely rewarding - I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good brew and/or likes to create something of their own. We have a thread about it here.

Clearly, my Santa has picked up on this because my gifts are homebrewing related! Currently, I am brewing an American Brown Ale called Caribou Slobber. It is in primary fermentation in this 6 gallon food-grade container.

That's 5 gallons of hardwork. Someday, it will be fermented enough to be bottled. When that day comes, I can make use of gift number 1:

Instead of being dull, brown-bottle mystery beers, each bottle will have this sweet label. Then, once the homebrew is in bottles, it will take a bit more time to condition and create the carbonation necessary to be drunk. But on drinking day, I will be able to serve this sweet nectar in these bad boys (gift number 2):

Glad you like it, BDer. Most the reviews I saw said it was pretty durable and worked well outside. Figured it'd be great for all those Darties!

I just remembered I had a DVD set delivered there too. Don't know if its that or the Secret Santa gift.

Just ordered gifts for my Santee. It should be coming in three parts, the first definitely by Wednesday, the 2nd in 3-5 days, and the 3rd in 4-14 days. It was incredibly stressful picking them out, but also fun. Hope you enjoy the Santee!
