Bzz will never be the guy for the job. We will still struggle to win 5 and will be lucky to win any more than that. We are lucky that 3 of our first 4 games are against fellow cellar dwellers in ACC.
 
forgot about VT. 4 of our first 5 games are against bad teams. Let's wait and see what we do against bad teams on the road before we get to excited.

Coaches with losing seasons do not become ACC Coach of the Year. We'll talk when we beat Duke, NC State, Maryland, or, maybe, Miami (depending on how they do without the big guy). Record wise, we won one less OOC game than I expected, even though I included what I call the [Redacted] factor (an extra loss just for the hell of it). We are one up in the ACC, which is good, but if you told me at the beginning of the season we'd beat Virginia it wouldn't have exactly shocked me.

Yes I am a buzzinner, so you aren't far off. But I was being facetious. I was not serious. Although if that came to pass most of this board would have a heartattack. I disagree on the losing season. I say we have a decent shot at .500 or better. Lots of basketball to be played though and lots of improvement/growing needed. Its been nice to have some wins regardless.
 
Both teams we've beaten have been very poor but winning is a hell of a lot better than losing.

You have eight very winnable games left on the schedule. Of course you will not win them all, but if you win five and surprise in one of the games you shouldn't win, that's pretty solid improvement at 8-10. Bzz would certainly be retained under those circumstances.
 
Appreciated Moto's little midrange pullup today once or twice. Didn't look half bad. And he looks like he's learning how to use his athleticism more effectively. Hopefully that continues (and he gets even more athletic). Enjoying watching him develop.

Devin, what more can you say. What a great player. Just wait till he starts dunking those bunnies.

Travis, with all his mental lapses, was hitting his flat 3s today. Does he just choose not to have any arc?

If any of you guys was at the game tonight you would have seen a "team". Like I have said plenty of times, WTF, yes I've complained about Buzz myself, but we're playing so much better now. We're playing better "team ball" than we ever played under Dino, we're also starting to battle on the boards. Fuck it, if Wake is playing better in all areas and playing better team ball; than why hate and act like you don't want to watch the Deacs.. Screw it, go pull for another team b/c your a fair weather fan anyway...
 
You're delusional if you believe Wake is playing better ball than Dino's teams. You just don't remember what good ball is after enduring the last few years. We still suck, mightily. We just barely beat an atrocious BC team at home.

The fact I'm still here in year 3 blows your fairweather argument out of the water. Hilarious to see the Bz apologists gain a little confidence over the past couple of games...but it's going to make our epic losses that much harder to bear.
