Married Deacs - What Was Your First Dance Song?

I don't know if they did this, but if you have a live band to play your song you can tell the band leader ahead of the time the last few things you will do to finish the dance and have them watch for it, that way they can wrap up the song and cut it shorter. The key is to be a good enough dancer to HAVE a last couple of moves AND you have to listen to the song (not just the beat) while you dance so that you don't do it in the middle of a verse and so that it is a good place for the band to wrap.
 
I Can't Help Falling In Love With You. We had a choreographed foxtrot or waltz or something that we had a dance instructor work out with us. If I ever wind up getting married again someday for some unforeseen reason, we won't be doing that.

Oh, if I should ever have occasion to get married again you can definitely assume that the female is in charge.

Please note that I am currently married to the most wonderful woman in the world and don't anticipate any changes to that status before someone croaks.

I have no idea and am amazed so many of you know. I showed up at the reception and danced when told to. I suppose I may have known at the time, but that was many moons ago.
 
how many people choreographed a dance versus just dancing?

i'm 98% sure we'll just dance, though we may take dance lessons before then anyway just so we don't make total fools out of ourselves. really don't think we'll choreograph anything though.
 
Choreographing gives you the possibility of an awesomely viral youtube video if you incorporate all the latest hip hop moves.

Just dance. The choreographed dance is a way for the bride to show off she just neutered the groom in a public fashion. She might as well walk out to the middle of the dance floor, grab your balls, and rip them out like Mola Ram from The Temple of Doom.

We choreographed to some extent. He didn't want to make himself look like an idiot so I quickly choreographed it in about 2 hours on day about 2 weeks before the wedding (we also picked the song that day).
