After 2.5 years of little to no coverage of Bz's underperformance we have gotten a slew of journalism coverage over the past several months. These two have come out over the past two days.

On Yahoo:

"The only surprising aspect of the month-old website devoted to getting Wake Forest coach Jeff [Redacted] fired is that it took Wake Forest fans so long to create one. Bzelik, under immense pressure after back-to-back last-place ACC finishes, has fared only slightly better in his third season in Winston-Salem. The Demon Deacons lost by 26 at Maryland on Saturday to fall to 10-11 overall and 3-6 in ACC play."

On Run The Floor: A College Basketball Blog:

"I'm not sure if there was a "Fire Jeff [Redacted]" website when he was at Colorado, but he has one now. And the statistics there are enlightening. I won't list them here - you can go to their page for the information - but it hits the major themes which have pushed the Wake fans to the edge. It's not just the losses. It's the losses combined with a program that has become a very popular place for players to leave, and this has been complicated by [Redacted]'s awful public relations ability.

Who knows if Wake will actually terminate [Redacted] after this season, but it's becoming more and more clear that the fans want the school to make a move."

Journalists are paying much more closer attention to our current head coach fiasco.

There is absolutely zero chance he will be back. ZERO. I just don't understand how any adult could possibly think otherwise. Honestly.

You don't know this AD....

[Redacted], short of killing a hooker, will be back next season.

WAIT...is that the master plan, DV7? Dead hooker wrapped up in a yoga mat in the back of the Prius?

Will a dead hooker fit in the back of a Prius?

I disagree...these type things will work especially when presented as a unified fan base against an out of touch admin. It takes longer at Wake Forest but I do believe if we finish 6-12 or less with the blowouts they will make a move at season's end. It could also be like a Lowe situation where the prospect of another year and the pressure that would bring to Buzz is even too much for him and he leaves on his own.

This is getting good...Maybe we can put some heat on Wellman also...

I'm sure Wellman's seat would start getting warm if [Redacted] is back next season. Then the press might start piecing it together and realize that Wellman has lost his damn mind.

Oh yes I do.

Guys, please don't waste time on any discussion about Buzz at Wake beyond this season. Maybe some of you are just teasing, or trying to prepare yourselves for the worst, but no one could possibly think that Buzz returning is a probability or even a possibility. It's completely absurd.

Predicting the future...

Bzz gets a one year extension at the end of this season.

Wake continues to suck in 2013-2014 but finishes with 6 or 7 ACC wins. Wellman heads the NCAA Tournament committee in 2013. Wellman resigns after the NCAA Tournament in 2013 and Bzz is fired.

You haven't paid much attention to the last three seasons. Wellman has been overwhelmingly supportive, multiple reports that Bz is doing exactly what Wellman has asked and that Wellman is willing to deal with the "pain" to get things the way he wants them, Bz has not really demonstrated that he feels any urgency, etc, etc.

Would think Wellman will toss Buzz in an attempt to keep his job...Wellman must have a "teflon" backside!

By now Wellman has to know that [Redacted] isn't the long term solution. Even if he intends to stick with [Redacted] next year, he needs to put out feelers in the off-season. It's not like [Redacted] has any leverage.

I've resigned myself to the likelihood that he'll be back next year. I hope I'm wrong, of course.

This is the absolute perfect time to hire a good coach. We have a few stud freshmen and we are only losing one senior. I doubt we have a chance with Shaka, etc, but a solid recognized coach wanting to make a jump would love to take a program over this year. If we wait just one year, it will be less attractive.

Prepare to be wrong. Hate to break it to you, but he will be back next year.

Edited to add: I hate Bzz. I want that shit out badly. He will be back next year though.
