Lectro is dumber about basketball than he is football. Amazing.
Everyone agrees that this team will be better. However, they could run around the gym without a coach and get better. Just imagine what we could do with a REAL coach.

When improvement is measured by only getting beat by two shit out of conference teams and then by not getting blown out at home, that's pretty slow progress. Thing is, I don't think anyone would argue that we haven't improved over the last two years, but it has been at a glacially slow pace and there's really no reason to think the pace will get much faster.
I share Lectro's confidence that with more possession and more experience CMM will get better. It might be enough to get us a winning record and on the NIT bubble in 2013-2014, but then we lose Travis. Again we'll probably get a bit better with natural improvement and the Shelton Mitchell addition, but it will only be enough to get us on the NCAA bubble for 2014-2015. 2015-2016 we might be solidly in the tournament, but won't have a high seed and won't be good enough to really win much of anything. And then 2016-2017 we're basically starting from scratch as 8 players graduate (all this assumes a valuable player doesn't transfer prematurely). Jeff [Redacted] will then be 63. I don't know how you can have confidence in [Redacted] based on the positively glacial pace of improvement we've seen so far.
Why don't you view him through the lens of his entire career? After you've done that, explain what makes you think that he's NOW going to become a successful winning head coach.
How are you wrong with most of what you write if you're that educated on both sports?Having played both sports extensively I'm pretty certain that I have forgotten more about both of them than a piss-ant like yourself will ever know.

Alright...I assume you recognize the difficulties at Colorado?

Andy Katz gave a fair assessment and also allowed that the guys at Air Force left Buzz in good shape as he guided the Academy to its best two year record in its history (50 WINS and 16 L's) including a 31 and 1 home record.

I have, nor will i ever have confidence in this man.
You can't give [Redacted] full credit for both Colorado and Air Force. Both have to come with caveats.
And, btw, I believe I am correct in saying last year's Colorado team had one players recruited by [Redacted]. So, yeah, he really set them up for success (for one year).
That was a generic you. Apologies for not being clear.
Congratulations on all your success at the YMCA games.
Did you even take the time to read the post? WTFK do you think it means now that you have actually read it?
I read the post. It's you mindlessly repeating stats from 6 years ago about the two of the three successful seasons [Redacted] has had in a 35 year career in basketball.
Well, so much for that vaunted Wake education --- all you have to do is read the Katz sentence I wrote.
Yes, great shape:
16-14 (8-8)
10-21 (0-16)
10-21 (1-15)
16-16 (6-10)
If it is Katz's sentence, then you didn't write that.
