You seem very pissed that I didn't like your analysis. But it was very empty, with nothing to say. Which makes sense, it was based on a couple of undergrad film school classes. But don't pretend it's some sort of profound thought.

Haha, very funny, using the same style that I used in one of my posts. And you're right, I have too high of a view of myself because I took a couple film classes. I have no idea what I'm really talking about. Again I say, you can go fuck yourself.

Better now? I like both words equally well because people get so offended by them. And it's not debating anymore when someone just comes in, adds nothing to the debate, and basically says "you suck," which is what district did.

If it were an uninformed opinion I might agree with you, but he's expressing and explaining himself well, whether or not you agree with him.

Some people, like Slim, say they use movies to "escape." Just because he might intellectualize or offer contrarian opinion or take a more holistic view of a work doesn't mean he's ruining things.

If this is your only contribution to the thread, I'd argue you are far more in danger of ruining it via derailing than he is by offering his opinions. Neg rep.
